Ginny Stibolt tells us how to manage our gardens, yards, landscapes, and watering to insure the least possible adverse impacts on the environment. Sustainable gardening is a broad topic. She includes best practices in gardening, organic gardening, making the best use of local resources, growing your own vegetables, and saving water, among others. Our goal should be to reduce Floridians’ collective ecological footprint. She includes interesting and doable projects and landscaping techniques that should help us reach that goal and have a significantly beneficial effect on Florida’s environment.
